#AgainstFastFashion will be hosting a merchandise launch party on January 11, 2019 in the Amador Valley MPR from 5:00-6:30 PM to launch our new products! We partnered with The Tote Project, a bag company aimed to stop human trafficking, to create our own custom bag, and designed our t-shirts under the company Print Natural, which is an ethical printing shop. The t-shirts will cost $20.00 and the tote bags will cost $30.00.

UPDATE: Thanks to everyone who came and bought our products! It was very successful.

The purpose of these workshops is to educate our community on the detrimental effects of fast fashion and to promote ethical and second-hand purchasing. We will be teaching you about the mission of our organization. There will also be various guest speakers including Michelle Chavez, an ethical fashion blogger and founder of The Tote Project, and Kathleen Elie, a YouTuber and founder of Conscious & Chic. Since second-hand clothing is so important to #AgainstFastFashion, we decided to host a clothing donation drive for our community to either donate their used/unused clothing or purchase our resold pieces. We will be hosting this event at Harvest Park Middle School from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on January 5, 2019. Drop by our event to support a good cause! Our non purchased clothing will be donated to Savers and Goodwill.

UPDATE: Thank you so much to everyone who came! We received over 160 pieces of clothing!
